Rising costs, more competition for fewer applicants, the rapid pace of technological change – those are just a few of the threats to college as we know it. But when Kevin Carey looks into the future, he sees the end of traditional colleges and universities and he says that’s a good thing. Carey is the Education Policy Director at the New America Foundation and his new book is called “The End of College: Creating the Future of Learning and the University of Everywhere.”
